Customer request

Matthys Group was looking for a technical solution to automate its pallet storage. The installation had to:

  • Manage approximately 600 pallet positions
  • Automatically store and retrieve pallets
  • Operate within a compact warehouse setup
  • Be suitable for storing items such as cable drums, motors, and preparation carts
  • Interact with AMR or AGV systems
  • Eliminate manual handling at height
  • Operate reliably and safely in a production environment
  • Be prepared for future integration with systems such as WMS, MES, and ERP

For Motiv, the challenge was to bring together mechanics, electrical engineering, control technology, motion control, and machine safety into one high-performance system.
